MindPsych = Mindful Therapy

Busy New Yorkers tend to also be Anxious New Yorkers which makes it difficult to live in the moment. Mindful Therapy or Mindfulness Therapy is a form of therapy that encourages you to be present-focused, non-judgmental, and compassionate. This allows you to more fully experience yourself and notice the thoughts and beliefs that may contribute to your suffering. MindPsych NYC was established to provide mindfulness-based treatment to Busy New Yorkers who don’t think they have the time to take care of their mental health.


Benefits Of Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Stress And Anxiety Reduction

Because mindfulness is a calming practice, you can reduce the stress that’s causing you physical and emotional symptoms. Anxiety naturally decreases as you view the present in a nonjudgmental way. The thoughts are still there and can be assessed and dealt with rationally, while the stress and anxiety you feel about your circumstances are acknowledged and experienced fully in the present moment.
